Summary/Abstract: This article outlines the main results from study of the psychosocial identity statuses of Bulgarian adolescents and their possible application in the educational and consulting practice. This article attempts to outline the possibilities identity status to be applied not only in studies and predictive assumptions, but also in educational and consulting practice. The relation between psychosocial identity status and various forms of deviant and disadaptive behaviour is adduced. Authors suggest specific approaches towards prevention programs and avoiding the possible forms of asocial and antisocial behaviour.
