Summary/Abstract: This text seeks to untangle the ways through which the concept of contemporaneity is developed in two pivotal places of Søren Kierkegaard’s work as a whole. Within this process, as points of reference, I analyzed two texts – one by Johannes Climacus and one by Anti-Climacus (Philosophical Fragments and Practice in Christianity). This reading solicited a reconsideration of the heteronymic operations that take place in the Kierkegaardian corpus as a whole. Through that I seek to regain a clearer delimitation of the absolute difference between the sterility of the theoretical knowledge of truth and the performative task to recognize the truth.
