Social logistics – controversies about the essence

Summary/Abstract: For years it has been possible to follow the discussions about the essence of social logistics. The first thing that comes to mind is the amazingly arbitrary interpretation of events, misinterpretation of the meaning of scientific reports, and the omission of some of the authors’ writings in the topic of social logistics. The purpose of the article is to answer the following questions: 1) what caused the emergence of social logistics? 2) What are the interpretations of “social logistics”? and 3) are statements that the social logistics is the particular component of any type of logistics valid?
