Role of the Trans.eu system in the functioning of international enterprises of production- shipping sector

Summary/Abstract: This article aims to identify the role of systems of European freight exchanges in the functioning of road transport in the production and shipping sector. The thesis presents a comparison of competitors of Trans.eu system – two European leaders: Freight Exchange Timo-Com and Exchange Teleroute. The compilation of the results shows the functionality of individual systems, description of solutions and technological differences and presents in what parts of Europe they have a competitive advantage. From the research conducted among manufacturing and shipping companies it comes up that traders usually choose Trans.eu system, where there is an opportunity to conclude transactions, use business messenger, have insight into the subcontractors document and tracking the freight by integrating telematics transport companies with Trans.eu system.
