Summary/Abstract: The condition of development and correct functioning of intermodal transport in Poland are among others freight terminals. They have to be located in appropriate places in the country. The aim of the article is to conduct an analysis of transport availability of interland container terminals in Poland. 26 objects were included to the survey and it was stated that transfer takes place using road transport. Among these terminals there are two which are at the stage of creation: Zduńska Wola – Karsznice and a terminal at Pryncypalna str. in Łódź. The study adopts a theoretical variant because only road traffic rules expressed in permissible speed in particular sections of country’s road network decide about travel time. Apart from characteristics of analysed objects and their location regarding particular elements of space utilisation, the location of terminals concerning rail and road transport corridors belonging to trans-European transport network is paid attention to. Regarding test methods the article refers to distance measure and cumulative accessibility, creating among others matrix of interconnections terminals and isoline course of identical time of reaching the objects. The article refers to the whole Poland’s territory and is based on data from January 2017.
