How Many Languages does the Hungarian Theatre in Transylvania Speak?

Summary/Abstract: In his article about the multilingualism of Hungarian theatres in Romania, Árpád Levente Biró studies this phenomenon that is unique in Europe from various perspectives. He thinks that the translations and surtitles of shows, the multilingual communication of theatrical institutions and practices of administrative management enhance multicultural values without contradicting policies of preserving the identity of a minority. Biró also summarizes in writing the results of the fill-in mini-research conducted in Hungarian theatres.
