Summary/Abstract: Orhon Inscriptions, written during the Gokturk period the Great Turkic Khaganate and the oldest written document of Turkish history is the most important resource that sheds light on Turkish culture and civilization. There is a high level of civilization and traces of a developed Turkish philosophy in the Orhon Inscriptions. Orhon Inscriptions which is an official state inscription contains very important information about Turkish mythology. Undoubtedly, Inscriptions which containing very valuable information on many subjects such as universe designs, Turkish gods, mythological numbers reflect a more advanced understanding than the simple mythological belief system. In other words, the mythological elements in the inscriptions reflects a systematic and developed universe of thought, as opposed to a primitive form. Orhun Abideleri which sheds light on studies in many subjects, especially in language, literature and history is taken from the perspective of Turkish mythology. In this direction, it is aimed to interpret the informations given in the inscriptions and convey the results in integrity.
