Summary/Abstract: The maintenance of languages depends on the usage of vocabulary in that language. In the past, some languages have disappeared under the influence of other languages. The similarities and differences between the vocabulary of Kazakh and Turkish languages, which originated from the same origin; the changes in the vocabulary about the social life; which one of them is more dependent on the old Turkish; and the similarities and differences between the sound, shape and semantics have been tried to be investigated in this study. Data were collected by document analysis in the scope of qualitative research. The obtained data is classified, tabulated, analyzed and interpreted in Excel. According to findings, changes in some voice and form structures of words regarding social life between Kazakh and Turkish languages have been determined. It has been found that Kazakh language continued the old Turkish tradition rather than Turkish language. It can be seen that in both languages the same Arabic and Persian words are adapted to the sound dagger. It has been found that some words are used in Russian origin instead of Kazakh in Kazakh language. This and similar studies are important for meeting new concepts in terms of benefiting from each other’s vocabularies in Turkish and Kazakh languages.
