Summary/Abstract: The paper studies the theoretical foundations and the existing practice of forming professional competencies of specialists in the field of procurement for the use of statisticalanalysis results. Economic and social statistics is based on the methodological and theoreticalprovisions of the current economic theory, studies economic aspects in dynamics and statistics,interrelationships of economic phenomena. State procurement as an object of statistical analysisbecomes particularly relevant. Methodical recommendations were developed with a view tomethodological support of the development of the efficiency of procurement activities through providingconsulting services to customers in determining the procedure for the statistical analysis of theprocurement volume and making managerial decisions based on the received statistical information.
