Summary/Abstract: The project of an „Opera Omnia” of Bogdan Petriceicu Hașdeu, the Romanian scholar of international reputation, was demanded by the special importance of his life, dedicated to assimilating and promoting the Ethos of the perennial values (historical, social and religious). He belonged to a generation that influenced the consciousness enlightened by „structure of the Whole”, whether it was the whole of history, of culture, of spirituality or of the entire existence. The article reveals the encyclopedical personality of Bogdan Petriceicu Hașdeu, formed in the Eastern cultural space, as a synthesis of a Modernity whose major characteristic was the feeling of national permanence (standing as an example to the future generations).
