Summary/Abstract: The following article will discuss the problem of the One and the Many and their relationship. The investigation will be based upon the story of Genesis 1-5 and the interpretation given to this by Moses Maimonides. We divided the text into several episodes, trying to discover the details that could help us understand the way the connection between multiplicity and oneness was envisaged. The article also notices their disjunctive elements, as they appear, one by one, along the narration.
