Thermodynamics of spreading information and knowledge

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the thermodynamic model of spreading information and knowledge. Firstly,an idealistic case is presented, where both information and knowledge are the components of a simplereductionist cognitive system. Here, the dissemination of information is subjected to normal diffusion,whereas the spread of knowledge is a superposition of diffusion processes. The second, more realisticcase, represents a holistic approach, where information and knowledge are interactive non-extensivecomponents of a cognitive system perceived as a complex adaptive system.
