About Erzsébet Zakariás's book Janovics, the Creator of Transylvanian Hollywood

Summary/Abstract: The Cluj theatre manager from the beginning of the 20th century, Jenő Janovics also directed films. In 2014, on the centenary of the creation of his film, the Yellow Colt, Andreea Iacob wanted to publish a book about the Transylvanian beginnings of cinematography. She commissioned Erzsébet Zakariás to write the volume about Janovics’s multilateral activity. Ágota Zakariás (not related to the author) reviews the tri-lingual (Romanian-Hungarian-English), beautifully illustrated book.
