Sinteză a învăţăturilor eretice după Vincenţiu din Lerini
Synthesis of the Vincentiu of Lerini`s heretical doctrine

Summary/Abstract: The present study analyses priest Vincent of Lerini' s work known as Commonitorium, where he makes clear the distinction between the right faith and the heresy. The Vincentian canon, as it is revealed in his work, considers as righteous that faith wich is universal, acknowledged and confessed everywhere. Any other teaching lacking in these characteristics is seen as heresy. Although certain flaws have been found with this rule, we are of the opinion that it is normative for establishing the teaching of the faith, especially in those times when the Church had to appeal constantly to the authority of the Saint Fathers in ordre to remain faitful to the teachings that had been left to her as an invaluable treasure.
