Summary/Abstract: Coloring processes can be applied on textile surfaces with many different methods. First printing applications started to be done with various molds and brushes to apply natural dyes. In forthcoming years, with the invention of chemical dyes, professional designs, mechanical and digital printing techniques have started to be applied on textile surfaces. Ecological applications have regained a popularity in recent years because of negative influences of chemical dyes on nature and human health. Tataki-Zome is an ecological printing technique recently gained a great popularity. Leaves and flowers supplied from the nature are used in Tataki-Zome printing technique. In this study, history of textile was briefly presented, information about Tataki-Zome printing technique was provided and application of Tataki-Zome technique was explained with various images.
