Summary/Abstract: In the article, on the basis of glottodidactic literature, the author refers to the problem of language interference, the concept of bilingual model of generating speech and presents the principles of the didactic experiment conducted among students of the first year of Russian philology and its results. The basis of this didactic experiment is a theoretical grammar material prepared in the form of linguistic information quanta (grammar rules, sintactic structures, some inflexional paradigms). The aim of the experiment is demonstrating the effectiveness of applying linguistic information quanta and translation exercises.
