Summary/Abstract: The article examines the cultural-historical dimensions of the hero’s Grave. Special attention is paid to the graves of the princess - Baptist of the Slavic peoples and especially to the Baptist of Bulgaria - Boris-Mihail. The relation between a real and a symbolic grave is underlined through numerous examples.
