Summary/Abstract: The text contains a concise biography with a bibliography extract of dr Ema Milj- ković, an associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Niš, a re- nowned Serbian historian, Osmanist and specialized translator. Professor Miljković has obliged the Serbian historical science with numerous valuable monographs, studies and articles on Osmanistics and history of Serbian people under Osman government in the second half of the 15th and the first half of the 16th century. She speaks Turkish, Arabian, English, French, and is good in German. She has translated the French book The History of Osman Empire for the publisher Clio from Belgrade, which was edited by Robert Mantrand.
