Summary/Abstract: With the declaration of the Second Constitution in 1908, a great deal of vitality came to life in the Ottoman period. The publication activities showed a wide diversity ranging from sports to humor. Many periodicals were published especially in the field of humor during this date. One of the humorous newspapers of this period, which can be mentioned as a long-lived life with its 115-issue publication life, is Geveze. The newspaper, which consists of 63 newspapers in the province and 52 newspapers in the second, dominates the direction of being a daily news newsletter because it is the first newspaper published daily. The second volume was published two days a week and the humor element greatly increased compared to the first one. In both volumes, caricatures occupied a very important place, and the first page of almost all the numbers, and a part of the last pages were mostly spared for cartoons. This study deals with Geveze, which has not been studied in the literature.
