Summary/Abstract: Any attempt to explain the new developments of the present world without a reference to the concepts of community or the individual will be futile as regards comprehending new cases / values or terms. While the human quality determines the main quality of any age by piercing into time, setting and humanistic values, in time, all these concepts begin to determine the quality of humans and the age they live in. In today’s postmodern world, which rests upon simulacrum and visuality, the individual comes to the fore, and, at the same time, becomes an insignificant object of the global market where everything is converted into profitable objects. The new human is being transformed from sociality into individuality, and then into a simple imaginary image, which forces him/her to destroy his connection with physical, psychological and social dimensions. Such disconnection is the starting point of a double-layered alienation and adoption of a new identity. Alienation is both a loss of identity on a personal level and a social dissolution as regards time, setting, values and social roles.
