Summary/Abstract: The article discuss examples where the Orthodox Church has applied oikonomia on adoption of heretics, sectarians and persons of a different denominations. The Church is an exception from the rules, because its guiding principle was always love and care for the salvation of the human soul, and not respect the canon as an independent value.
