RAIČKOVIĆ’S TWO SONNETS ABOUT DEATH

Summary/Abstract: The Paper analyses Raickovic’s two anthological sonnets: „Pesma i smrt” (Poem and Death) and „Niti” (Threads) with the ambition to establish the link between rhythm and meaning, form of the sonnet and the topic of death. It seems that there is harmony between the topic of death and the petrification of the form of the sonnet, which would relate Raickovic with younger poets, Branko Miljkovic and Rajko P. Nogo who wrote „death is at home in a sonnet”.
