Summary/Abstract: The transition to the free market economy in the two sides of the Atlantic (UKUSA) is seen to have profound effects on art. This process has led companies to intervene in the arts and thus art to be involved in the consumption culture. The use of art as a popular tool in the capitalist system has also brought about the role of companies in determining their liking. In this study we try to remark some company policies on art.
