The Lesser Poland Forum of Libraries in the Eyes of its Organisers

Summary/Abstract: The Małopolska Forum of Libraries, which was held in October 2016, was organised by the Jagiellonian Library, the Provincial Public Library in Cracow, the Board of the Polish Librarian Association for Małopolska, the Institute of Information and Library Science of the Jagiellonian University and the Institute of Information of the Pedagogical University. The meeting focused on two issues: firstly, on the integration and standardisation of library activities, libraries being the suppliers of high quality bibliographic data; secondly, on the exchange of experience as well as on the integration of the librarian community. The conference ended with a lecture delivered by Prof. dr hab. Jacek Wojciechowski in the Main Reading Room of the Jagiellonian Library.
