Summary/Abstract: Through the remake of famous mythical stories, Hristic’s Orestes (in which tragic catastrophy is avoided) and Lukic’s Medea both deal with the same topic: revenge done and undone. The topic is deeply entwined with antagonistic motives of Love and Hate. „Love remembers for live, Hate remembers only a single act”, Hristic says, thus opening the way to literary eternity for these two dramas.
