Summary/Abstract: This paper examines the possibilities of typological comparison of the motifs of daemonic and divine in the poetries of Novica Tadic and Danijel Dragojevic. It investigates the processes of transformation and alternation of the motifs of daemonic and divine, which are recurrent in literary tradition, myth and culture. In particularly focuses on the consequences such alternations have in the poetries of Tadic and Dragojevic on the semantic plane. The analysis also includes the role of the motifs daemonic and divine in the creation of the „image of time” as the lyrically expressed self-awareness about a particular epoch.
