STATE AID

Summary/Abstract: The provisions for regulation the state aid are part of the provisions of Treaty establishing the European Community, dealing with the issues of competition. The mentioned provisions are related with the state interventions on the markets, and not with the market disbalance due to certain activities of the enterprises. The establishment of the control of the state aid is an issue of essential importance, bearing in mind that the measures with which the state aid is provided for certain enterprises can cause disbalances in the competition. According to the Stabilization and Association Agreement, Macedonia is on its way to fulfil its obligation for adjustment of the Macedonian with the EC legislation on state aid. However, the author of this article considers that in the process of implementation of the rules for state aid, not only the formal, but also the informal sources of rights.
