Identification marks in the onomastic field

Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the problem of determining the status of identification marks as intermediate units in relation to the lexical system. The author suggests classifying the identification marks according to the way of their formation. A number of linguocultural and linguopragmatic peculiarities are identified on the basis of advertising texts and the function of the units of speech and language is defined.
