Summary/Abstract: In the article Christian liturgy is presented in the hermeneutic key of genetics. It is an attempt to describe the essence of liturgy using the language of genetics. Thus the text identifies formal analogies (due to obvious reasons other forms of analogy cannot exist in this case) between genetics as the study of mechanisms which determine heredity of genes and liturgics, the theology of liturgy in particular, which studies the way of passing on and the presence of Christ’s Mystery in the celebration of mystery.
