Firstly, the researched focused on the biblical topics in the lectures prescribed for the celebration. In the last part of the paper the author tried to show the theological meaning of some liturgical gestures connected with the Rite of Ordination to the Presbyterate. The study shows the richness of theology of the elaborated rite. One of the most important characteristics of the post-conciliar redaction is the appreciation of the ecclesiological elements of the rite.
