Summary/Abstract: This article is devoted to the problems of phonodidactics of Russian [r] and [rj] with a special focus on the difficulties in the pronunciation of these sounds connected with interference from Polish. The article suggests phonodidatic solutions in the context of the holistic multimodal approach as offered by Jolanta Szpyra-Kozłowska. The paper describes the main principles of this innovative approach and presents examples of phonetic training in a group of students studying Russian.
