The standard of living in the European Union countries by selecting methods of multi-dimensional comparative analysis

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the results of the standards of living comparison in the European Union countries by using selected taxonomic methods. To determine the standard of living the twenty five variables from economic and non-economic categories were adopted. The data was obtained from Eurostat. The results of analysis were compared with the migration directions. The adopted research period is 2015–2016. The highest living standard was observed in Germany, Great Britain, Austria and France.
