In search of the typology of socially responsible innovations: mapping the research field

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the paper in to map the research field related to the typology of socially responsible innovations through identifying the types of innovations aimed at implementing organizational changes in accordance with the philosophy of corporate social responsibility. The paper enumerates the types of such innovations and analyses the interest of academia in conducting related research manifested in the number of publications. Then, applying the systematic literature review, the paper characterizes the identified types of innovations. Finally, relationships, similarities and differences between the constructs under the study are pointed out and recommendations for further studies are provided.
