European SME Sector in the Dimensions of Environmental Activities

Summary/Abstract: In the present paper the cognitive focus concerns evaluation of proenvironmental activities, including stimulating the increase of resource efficiency of the SMEs sector in European countries. Conclusions from the subject matter of the paper have been based on the summary of the research conducted by TNS Political & Social at the request of the European Commission, Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry. In particular the author has identified the directions of pro-environmental activity, including the resource efficiency – enterprises of the SMEs sector in the European Union.
