Summary/Abstract: Confronted with the nowadays danger represented by the global warming and aware of the need to adopt urgent measures to stop gas emission, the European Union, as organization, is one of the most active institution involved in this area at international level. European Union as a whole, has an important role in international efforts to reduce global emissions of greenhouse gases, participating in the adoption and implementation of international legal instruments of reference for this issue.
