Considerations on the impact of media violence on children

Summary/Abstract: The globalization of the interest towards social violence is the consequence of a generalized awareness regarding the necessity of putting violence in the little black books of various social actors, responsible of finding solutions, but also of mobilizing the social body, civil societies for stepping up, involving in and participation to preventing and combating this social phenomenon. Mass-media, gives more and more attention to violence, contributing to realizing and growth of public interest towards youths’ violence. Disturbing fact is that media violence affects children's development.
