Summary/Abstract: In contemporary music education great attention is paid to the need for various forms of musical expression. This applies to all stages of education, and in a special way forms of education students preparing for the role of kindergarten teacher and a teacher of classes I to III of primary school. The teacher’s work important it is to be used in educational practice singing, playing instruments, moving to the music, making music and listening to music. Parallel operations are carried teacher, also called music education activities, such as voice training, ear training, introduction of musical notation and to communicate a basic knowledge of music theory. The forms of musical expression and activities of music education should form the basis for music classes for each future teacher of music. The article describes the actual situation. He talks about whether students – future teachers are familiar with and properly use musical instruments during the classes.
