Summary/Abstract: The indoor buildings, such as residences, towers, home, school or workplaces, which are one of the signs of modern life and where people spend a significant part of their time, negatively effect on human health with time. These building, which seems garish, comfortable and safe, prevents people from living efficient, productive and quality lives. It also causes conflicts by preventing people from communicating effectively with each other and is a sign of an unhealthy life. This disease is called "Disease of Working Slaughter" or "Sick Building Syndrome"; defines acute health problems and comfort effects that are not associated with any specific illness or a cause in connection with the time occupied by occupants in the building. Sick building syndrome, which is caused by indoor air pollution, inadequate air conditioning conditions, the use of chemicals, stress, noise, lighting, etc., negatively affects the employees. This syndrome, which has a significantly negative impact on the employees of health care institutions decreases the productivity of the employees, increases the absenteeism and causes the employees to live psychological problems. In order to prevent people who work in the indoor area from being affected by the sick building syndrome, arranging the factors that will cause stress such as maintenance of the ventilation systems in the work areas, prevention of noise in the working environment and correct selection of building materials can be shown as precautions to be taken.
