Some Notes on Instrumental Realism

Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with some problems of instrumental realism, a position held by Ladislav Kvasz as it was presented in his papers Mathematics and Experience (2009) and Mathematics and Reality (2011). The main objective is to analyse the way instrumental realism provides justification for belief in realism about mathematical entities and to question whether this way of justification is sufficient for instrumental realism to be considered a form of realism.
