PUBLIC POLICY ANALYSIS PERSPECTIVE OF CLIMATE CHANGE POLICIES IN TURKEY

Summary/Abstract: This study evaluates the climate change policies in Turkey from the perspective of rational public policy analysis. Relevant climate change national strategic plan, action plan, and the policy designs in the manifesto were analyzed on the context of related policy analysis model. In the first two parts of the study, various public policy analysis approaches were evaluated in the perspective of climate change policies. In the third part of the study, the climate change policies in Turkey were discussed according to rational public policy analysis consisting seven stages. In the conclusion of the study, a more effective, efficient and concrete policy making process was suggested.
