Summary/Abstract: All forms within the Classical Turkish Music are composed in a regular way, which has verbal, musical and many religious and non-religious forms. The form analysis in music makes it possible to show the layout of the compositions. This study addresses the form analysis methods, which have been implemented in Classical Turkish Music before and presented information about the method applied. The study highlights the verbal pieces, which are lacking in the methods that rely entirely on melody and the additional applications have been developed for the existing methods to bridge the gap. The objective of this study is not to present a brand new analysis method but to make the accepted analysis method usable in our music. For that purposes, "A suggestion on new analysis method" chapter provides insight as to how to bridge the gap in the previously applied methods and addresses how to apply the method in detail. The study concludes that we need a method to use the melody and verbal piece together in the music to understand the form in the Classical Turkish Music which has been established on the verbal tradition and maintain it accordingly and reveal the course of the form within.
