Summary/Abstract: Tales emerging as a type of verbal tradition that conveys the unreal events that they deal with through heroes with extraordinary traits in the uncertainty of time and place, comes out as an important literary genre showing a cultic essence. Fairy tales are designed to transmit the dominant ideology and the basic dynamics of the society to the future generations and the claim that with the use of mythical elements, a new fairy tale which is called as anti-fairy tale has emerged aiming to purify the fairytales from these subtexts and support the mental development of children by approaching them as independent individuals. In this study the “Cindirella” having an important place in the remodeling and transmission of gender perception in a masculine plane, with “Vegetarian Cinderella” which Nunila Lopez has added to literature from Anti-Cinderella masks will be studied from the point of view of criticism of feminist fairy tale. The fact that women in the fairy tale are defined as the other gender and that this ideology has been reproduced for many years through these and similar tales are the main reasons for choosing Grimm Brothers’ “Cindirella” fairy-tale.
