TECHNOLOGY USAGE IN LOGISTICS COMPANIES: A RESEARCH IN TR A1 REGION

Summary/Abstract: One of the most important elements of the 20th century, the technology continues to develop in a way that cannot be reached. Today, enterprises have to continue their lives and increase their level of competition depends on the intensive use of technology. In addition, technology enterprises take advantage of scale economies and have an important place in terms of effective, economical and efficient use of resources. Yet again, technology and businesses can focus on the globalization process. At the same time, their ability to enter new markets depends on their effective use of technology. The use of technology which is the lifeblood of all sectors also has vital importance in terms of logistics companies. The purpose is to examine the level of application of technology in logistics companies. For this purpose, the hypothesis of the research was determined by considering theoretical discussions and research findings in the literature. The research hypotheses were tested with 100 questionnaires which were made by 100 questionnaires working in logistic companies operating in the Erzurum, Erzincan and Bayburt provinces of the TR A1 Region, using SPSS. According to the study results, it has been determined that the selection of the technology to be used in the logistics enterprises and the technology logistics used are affected positively. However, it has been determined that the employees in the technology logistics businesses to be used cannot be affected positively
