Summary/Abstract: The article raises the problem of judges of the Special Court in Bielsko (Sondergericht Bielitz) during World War II, which was one of the special courts established by the Nazis on Polish territories that were incorporated into the 3rd Reich. As an introduction the method of research is described. Also, a short history of the court is presented. Archive documents have been used to describe the judges’ staff of the court. Personal profiles of the judges are presented along with their professional and scientific standing, civil status, career history, political attitude and additional employment. The author also examines the subsequent curricula of the judges.
