Summary/Abstract: Caucasia, when the earth was considered as three continents, was a passageway of Asia and Europe. The plains in the north of Black Sea were like an intermediate range combining two continents. Although it is learned today that the earth is a much larger place the district is still regarded as a passageway. Due to this quality it is possible to see many different societies in Caucasia since the beginning of the early history. Aryan, Iranian, Turanian origin people have been together in the region since ancient times. This multinational structure of Caucasia is still available today. Since the mid-19th century, Caucasia witnessed fight for hegemony between great powers. As a consequence of this rivalry, there has been a tendency to own the history and culture of the region. In the translations done in Europe the allegations, in the works historians that were done under patriotic and religious influences by middle age historians, were carried to modern days as the local resources weren’t put to criticism while transferring foreign languages. By the effects of political rivalry, it is claimed that the Georgian, the Armenian or the Turkish people were the ancient people of the region and laid the base of civilization in the region.
