Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to provide a typology proposal for the analysis of female candidates’ advertisement spots. The methodology is based on the results of a study about women candidates’ electoral campaigns for Latin America countries’ Government. It is clear that female candidates are placed into predetermined patterns. We can also verify that the female universe presented in the videos reflects similar stereotypes in all of the studied countries.
