Summary/Abstract: The topics – Roma (Gipsy) and migrants in television news were a part of the dominant themes Slovak news before the election. They could influence the growth of extremism. The research define the volume of broadcasting reports on Roma and immigrants and also compares the commercial news Televízne noviny on Televízia Markíza and public (service) Správy RTVS. Author is trying to define the current image of migrants and Roma in television news.
