Summary/Abstract: Evaluating the quality of medical care in the field of reproduction and sexual health of physically disabled women. The obtained results are a part of a larger research project evaluating the quality of medical care in the field of reproduction and sexual health of physically disabled women. The research contains a psychological part based on an extended interview and a complete medical, gynecological and sexological examination. In the interview took part 67 women with a visible physical disability. In the medical examination there were 22 participants. The results clearly show, that polish women with a physical disability require sexual education, preventive examination, contraception and an access to prepared, friendly and tolerant gynecologist. Examinated women significally less frequently have cytological and gynecological exams and avoid medical appointments. As the main reasons they report difficulties with finding the most optimal position, appropriately prepared doctor and limited logistics. Very frequently they point out depersonalized attitude of medical staff and unwelcome presence of another person such as „caretakers”.
