Summary/Abstract: The study deals with the analysis of citation practices of English language (ESL) students at the University of Prešov in Prešov in their final theses at the bachelor´s and master´s levels ofstudies. The attention was focused on selected aspects of reporting and citations (quotationsvs. paraphrases; integral vs. non-integral citations) with the aim of description of respectivestudents´ citation practices in their bachelor´s or master´s theses. It was found out that Englishlanguage students preferred non-integral citations (in the analysed corpora) and paraphrases(in three out of four subsets of the analysed corpora).
