Impact of surgery for female stress urinary incontinence on sexual function

Summary/Abstract: The impact on sexual function after uro-gynecology surgery is unknown. Our intention was to estimate sexual effect after SUI surgery, possibility of improvement and kind of sexual disorders. We evaluated sexual function before and after the surgery by the questionnaire. Results: 1. Techniques of tension-free tapes have twofold impact on sexual function. Successful incontinence treatment may not improve sexual function. 2. Before the treatment women should be warm of the possibility the sexual disorder: dyspareunia and decrease of libido
